Every year from January to March, thousands of humpback whales migrate to the warm waters of Samaná Bay to breed and give birth — making it one of the most spectacular wildlife events on the planet. From our specially equipped whale-watching boat, you'll watch these 40-ton giants breach out of the water, slap their enormous tails, and sing their haunting songs just meters away. Our expert bilingual guide explains the behaviour of each whale and shares the fascinating science behind their annual migration. The journey from Punta Cana to Samaná takes you through stunning Dominican countryside, and we stop for a traditional breakfast en route.
